CQUniversity Capricornia College, Rockhampton

During their stay in Rockhampton, students will stay in our on-campus accommodation – the Capricornia College.

Set in picturesque surroundings on our Rockhampton North campus, the Capricornia College is a fully catered residential facility which provides a safe, secure and supportive living environment with 24 hours a day onsite security and after-hours support staff.

Students will enjoy breakfasts, lunches and dinners freshly prepared on-site by highly trained chefs and kitchen staff and can engage socially with other international and domestic students residing on campus.

Students staying on campus will access a variety of communal student residential areas including dedicated study areas and social meeting areas with table tennis table, pool table, volleyball courts, etc.  College staff also provide a range of organised social activities and outings. The CQUni Gym, swimming pool and tennis courts are just a short walk away.

Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the College and the college bus offers transport to the conveniently located nearby major shopping centre.

Shops, take-aways and hotels are within walking distance from campus; the Dreamtime Cultural Centre showcasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures is just over the road from Capricornia College. Students can experience boomerang throwing, cultural dance and didgeridoo playing.
